About

The name of this organization shall be the "Board of Studies" of Sree Sakthi Engineering College.

The purpose of the Board of Studies is to design, develop, and periodically revise the academic curriculum, recommend teaching methodologies, and ensure that the syllabi remain current, relevant, and aligned with the latest industry and academic trends.

Responsibilities

To frame, review, and update syllabi for various courses offered by the department in accordance with the objectives of the institution and industry requirements.
To recommend panel of examiners for evaluation, question paper setting, and other academic assessments.
To propose methodologies for innovative teaching, learning, and evaluation techniques.
To recommend books, reference materials, journals, online resources, and other learning aids for each course.
To advise on introduction of new courses, certificate programmes, electives, and specializations as per the emerging needs of industry and academia.
To ensure that the curriculum promotes employability, entrepreneurship, research orientation, and holistic development of students.
To suggest measures for bridging the gap between academics and industry, including industrial visits, internships, guest lectures, and collaborative projects.
To recommend suitable value-added courses, skill-development training, and co-curricular activities to enhance student competency.
To perform any other academic function assigned by the Academic Council.
